LITTLE LEGENDS GRAND PRIX
PARTICIPATION WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Event Name: Little Legends Grand Prix
Event Location: 2044 W. Riverview Auto Dr. Mesa, AZ 85201

By signing this agreement, I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I am voluntarily allowing my child/ward (hereafter referred to as “Participant”) to participate in the Little Legends Grand Prix.

I understand and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in the Little Legends Grand Prix involves inherent risks, including but not
limited to collisions, falls, equipment failure, and other accidents that could result in bodily injury, property
damage, or death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the Participant’s involvement in this activity.

2. Release of Liability
In consideration of the Participant being allowed to take part in the Little Legends Grand Prix, I, on behalf of
myself, the Participant, and our heirs, assigns, and personal representatives, hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Garage Dreams Market Expo, MYOG LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents,
volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action, including
negligence, arising out of or related to participation in the event.

3. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and defend Garage Dreams Market Expo, its owners, officers, employees, agents,
volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates against any claims, demands, lawsuits, or damages, including attorney’s
fees, arising from the Participant’s involvement in the Little Legends Grand Prix.

4. Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Garage Dreams Market Expo and its representatives to seek medical
treatment for the Participant. I agree to assume all costs associated with such treatment.

5. Equipment Responsibility
I certify that the Participant’s racing vehicle and protective gear meet the safety requirements established by Garage Dreams Market Expo. I understand that it is my responsibility to inspect and ensure the equipment is
safe and in proper working order prior to the event.

6. Photo and Media Release
I grant permission for Garage Dreams Market Expo to use photographs, videos, and other media of the
Participant taken during the event for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media,
marketing materials, and event publicity, without compensation.

7. Agreement to Rules
I agree that the Participant and I will adhere to all event rules, regulations, and instructions provided by Garage
Dreams Market Expo and its representatives. Failure to comply may result in injury or removal from the event.

8. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Arizona.

Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability. I am aware that by signing this document, I
am waiving substantial legal rights, including the right to sue, and I sign it voluntarily.

RACE SCHEDULE
• 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM – Safety Inspections
o Racers arriving outside of this time may be unable to compete

• 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM – Practice Laps
o Racers get 1 lap to learn the track
o Subsequent laps can be made by getting in back of the line

• 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM –Race Heats
o Each Racer gets 3 qualifying laps
o The best lap time goes towards qualifying for the Grand Prix

• 10:00PM – 11:00 PM – Final Grand Prix
o Junior class go head-to-head in a 5 lap Grand Prix
o Progressive class go head-to-head in a 5 lap Grand Prix

EVENT RULES
All participants and parents must adhere to the following rules to ensure a safe, fun, and fair racing
experience:

General Rules for Participants

1. Follow All the Rules: Compliance with event rules is mandatory. Failure to do so may result in
disqualification.

2. Provide Your Own Vehicle: Each racer must bring their own electric “Power Wheels”-style
vehicle.

3. Safe Reliable Vehicles: All vehicles must have seatbelts and be in safe working condition.

4. Display Vehicle Number: The racer’s Little Legends number must be prominently displayed on
the vehicle.

5. Be a Good Sportsman/Woman: Show respect and good sportsmanship toward all participants,
staff, and parents.

6. Wear Appropriate Safety Gear:
o Closed-toed shoes
o Long pants and a long-sleeve shirt
o Gloves
o Helmet (required at all times on the track)

7. Sign and Submit a Waiver: Both parents or guardians must complete and sign the event waiver
before participation.

8. Avoid Collisions: Racers must operate their vehicles carefully and avoid contact with other
racers.

9. Maintain Vehicle Control: Racers must be able to control their vehicles at all times.

10. Be of Sound Mind and Body: Racers must be physically and mentally capable of participating
safely.

11. Listen to Staff and Parents: Racers must follow instructions from race staff and their parents at
all times.

Vehicle Rules
We have two categories of vehicles based on their specifications:

Stock Class (Electric Only)
• 12v MAX Junior Class
• 24v MAX Progressive Class
• NO modifications allowed.
• NO Rubber tires – As it came from factory only

Modified Class (Electric Only)
• 18v Battery Max (Junior)
• 24v Battery Max (Progressive)
• Allowed Modifications:
o Battery Swaps (18v Junior, 24v Junior+ MAX)
o ESC (Electronic Speed Controller)
o Motor Swaps
o Suspension Swaps
o Tire Swaps

Rebel Class (Electric Only)
• Only Rules Are:
o Must be electric
o Must be in good, safe condition
o Must be controllable
o *Note Rebel Class is coming soon.

*Pro Racing Tip! – Bring extra batteries or a way to charge them

Vehicles will undergo a safety inspection and voltage test prior to the event. Any vehicle that does not
meet these specifications will not be allowed to race.

Age Categories
We group participants into two age categories for fair competition:
• Junior Class: Ages 3-5
• Progressive Class: Ages 6-8

Parent Responsibilities
1. Be Present: Parents must be present and actively engaged during their child’s race sessions.

2. Provide Positive Encouragement: Parents must offer only positive support and encouragementto their child. Negative behavior or interference may result in removal from the event.

3. Supervise Safety Gear: Parents are responsible for ensuring their child is wearing all required
safety equipment before racing.

Disqualifications
• Smack talk, negative comments to other racers or their parents
• Crashing into another racer
• Turning into another racer
• Push started by parents
• Parents on the track
• Bump Drafting
• Parents inside the track (Parents must remain outside of the track AT ALL TIMES.)

*Challenging another racer’s car for illegal modifications requires a $25 fee from both racer’s parents.
The Fee is refunded to the winner of the dispute and the other fee is retained to the series. If cheating
if found that racer and its heat times are disqualified from the race.

*2x disqualifications = a ban for that year
Don’t cheat, you don’t want to have to tell your child they got disqualified because you cheated, no
child wants that.

EVENT SAFETY GUIDELINES
• Track Rules: Racers must stay within designated track boundaries at all times.

• Medical Support: First aid and emergency medical assistance will be available on-site.

• Weather Policy: In the event of severe weather, the Organizer reserves the right to delay,
reschedule, or cancel races for safety reasons.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

• No Liability for Cancellations: The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or
reschedule the event due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Refund Policy: Registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the
Organizer.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND AGREEMENT
By signing this form, I confirm that:

1. I have read and agree to the Event Rules, Vehicle Rules, Parent Responsibilities, and Safety
Guidelines outlined above.

2. I understand that participation in the Little Legends Grand Prix involves inherent risks, and I
assume full responsibility for my child’s participation.

3. I have completed the required waiver and release of liability form.

4. I agree that my child will not participate without adhering to the required rules and safety
measures.
